DIOXINS and PCBs Standards
Maximum levels set by the European Commission for the sum of dioxins and dioxin-like PCBs (WHO-PCDD/F-PCB-TEQ) for marine oils (fish body oil, fish liver oil, and oils of other marine organisms intended for human consumption): 6.0 ng/kg fat.
Iceland and Norway have stricter laws and have set Maximum levels: 5.0 ng/kg, because kids in kindergarten are given Cod liver oil in school by authorities.
